1. Introduction

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform data subjects about the conditions under which personal data obtained via our website www.meetcommerce.com (the “Website”) will be processed, as required by applicable legislation. Persons accessing and or the Website will be considered users (the “Users”), in which capacity they must know and accept the conditions set forth in this Privacy Policy.

To carry out the processing indicated below, the following company will process your data and therefore they are joint data controllers:

Use of the form enabled on the Website is voluntary. However, the fields are necessary for us to fulfill Users’ requests. Accordingly, the Controller will not be able to fulfill a User’s request unless the information referred to in the mandatory fields is supplied.

The Controller collects information from Users when they make use of those features of the Website that require them to provide certain personal data. Specifically, we will record the following information:

Sign Up Form: the personal data (including, but not limited to, your name, surname, email address, company name, department and job position) required on the sign-up form.

However, the Controller may allow access to your personal data to those providers with whom they have contracted services related to the operation of the Website (e.g. hosting services) or events. The Controller undertakes in these cases to select and contract only providers who offer an adequate level of protection of your personal data in the terms required by the applicable legislation.

6. How long will we keep your data?

Personal data will be kept by the Controller as long as the User does not revoke his/her consent or as long as is relevant to provide you with information about Meet Commerce events. At the end of the aforementioned period, Users’ personal data may be blocked and stored by the Controller to address any possible liabilities arising as a consequence of processing, but only until such liabilities may lapse. At the end of the prescription period, the personal data will be deleted by the Controller.

7. Age of majority and accuracy of data

The User guarantees that he/she is over 18 years of age and that the data provided to the Controller through this Website are accurate. The User is responsible for updating his/her data by sending a communication to the postal or electronic addresses provided in the section “What are your rights”. It is strictly forbidden for Users to provide personal data relating to third parties.

8. What are your rights?

Users are entitled to withdraw their consent to processing of their data at any time. Users may approach the Controller from time to time to exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure and portability of personal data, limitation and objection to processing, and the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated data processing procedures, where applicable. 9. Updates and Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Controller reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. When such changes occur, they will be communicated to Users by means of notices on the Website, by email or by any other appropriate means given the circumstances.
